About Me

Hello,
My name is Pam Miller, and while I do not make a full living as an artist, I do what I can, and enjoy what I do. I have in previous years done many art shows and conventions where I more regularly sold my artwork and took commissions, and have periodically dabbled in freelance work as I can alongside my full time job. Currently my only shows during the year remain the Festival of Legends in Cary, NC, and, if I can, Nekocon in Hampton, VA.
I work full time in Emergency Communications as a 911 Dispatcher for my local county’s dispatch center, and do other dispatch work on the side, and it is a career path I love just as much as my artwork, while being a very demanding and intense field. My chosen, and preferred medium of art lies in pencils and inks and watercolors, so most of my work is completed in one or more of those, alongside others such as gouache and periodically acrylic. I also dabble a bit in digital medium, although I am not the most versed in it, but enjoy experimenting and doing smaller projects using Procreate or Clip Studio, a lot of which tends to be in character sheets for DnD, etc.Admittedly, my full time work, along with a lot of personal setbacks, have led to me not going to shows as much anymore, and my portfolio not seeing as many updates as I would like, but 2025 is a new opportunity to do more than before, and life has led me back full circle into more availability and renewed confidence in pursuing more projects again like I used to, so stay tuned.~P.Miller

Caliburnus Project

Information regarding the Caliburnus Project will be posted here as it is finished. It will be a labor of love and admiration of the Arthurian Legends.

Updates!

January 2, 2025
It most certainly has been a long time since I updated this, and I am deeply sorry for that. The last couple of years have been a bit of a blow to me personally, and in other ways as well, which led to a lot of not-making-art, and just not doing a whole lot in general. I’ve managed updates here and there as I could, and while I am not followed by many, those few who do I am forever thankful for, you keep me inspired and keep me going when I feel like I am not worthy of it.
Thank you for that, it’s been a very rough few years and took. Me all of 2024 to recover from and feel like I could make art and pursue things that I love again.
